In the fall of 2014, myself and my colleague Eliza Muirhead were asked by conservation group Wildlife Defence League to come up to British Columbia and handle their photography and video for their upcoming campaign dubbed, 'Operation Great Bear'. WDL was asked by the Klabona Keepers to come up to the Sacred Headwaters of northern British Columbia and help them blockade the area off from trophy hunters.

Although WDL is a wildlife defence organization, they support and respect the right of first nation peoples to live off of their land as they have for 10 thousand years. I spent most of the campaign shooting video, but here are a few of my pictures of life at the blockade.

If you are interested in purchasing any prints, please contact me. All proceeds go to Wildlife Defence League.
